Mumsie is the word but if you're sick at the thought of having a same-old same-sex wedding reception then we've got some exciting news to share with you:  North London venue, The Depot, is offering the world’s first Crystal Maze style wedding reception.

It sounds EPIC.

What a fantastic opportunity: throw out the wedding reception rule book and give your guests an immersive theatre experience.

Who’s going to be worrying about matching seat covers, table plans and centrepieces when crystals are at stake?

If you're looking for a London wedding venue with a difference then don't miss the pop-up wedding fair held at The Depot on February 4th between 12 and 7pm.

For starters it's FREE, and you'll get to see what all the excitement is about.

Follow this link to register for your ticket as numbers are limited.

"North London venue, The Depot is excited to announce the launch of their partnership with Handmade Mysteries, offering betrothed thrill seekers the world’s first immersive ‘Crystal Maze’ style wedding reception experience.
Tucked away in this bus depot warehouse conversion are two explosive game rooms run by Handmade Mysteries, where wedding guests will have the opportunity to dive into the world of the totally immersive theatre experience, reviewed as Critics Choice in Time Out and quoted as “Crystal Maze On Meth”.  The experience features a story introduced by the game-host ‘Wynne’, where personal stories from the Bride and Groom’s past may be weaved in. Guests will be enticed away in groups of 2 - 9, where they must work as a team in order to escape and rejoin their fellow wedding goers.

Renegade & West Berkshire Brewery Groups’ The Depot, provides the perfect backdrop for the bohemian bride and a craft beer loving groom wanting to set the tone of their marriage with excitement and mystery, making one of the most important moments of a couples life, a day their guests will never forget.
Clare Candy, Marketing Manager of West Berkshire Brewery: “ The wedding day is such an important day in a couple's lives, that we are delighted to be able to offer a completely unique alternative to the traditional wedding reception experience. The Depot is already shrouded in character with its mezzanine layout and original wrought iron features, that partnering with immersive theatre company Handmade Mysteries seemed liked such a natural step to really give our clients and their guests an unforgettable experience’

James Addy, Co-Founder Handmade Mysteries: “We are thrilled to be offering that ‘something different’ for couples who want to celebrate their special day. Our game certainly delivers a unique experience that has given thousands of customers a five star day out, something to bond with and talk about, or compete over the fastest time! Our game rooms offer something for every type of wedding guest” "
